Spanner holder
So, I bet you didn't think it would be this. I have to admit it was on of the hardest things I have made because the oil cloth was so difficult to work with. I am not sure how my sewing machine managed. It is for my dad, as the original roll the spanners came in had bitten the dust.

Class Presents
Hi, I have been so busy towards the end of term I have just not had time to post the pattern to my star garland, I will try to do so in the next few days. I made my class gifts for Christmas, a candy cane mouse, a crochet star to hang on the tree and a strawberry shoe lace parcel. It took a while as there are 34 of them!!

Christmas Crochet Star Garland
This is a project that I started last year, it is still a work in progress! So far I have made 100 or so of these stars. I will be posting the pattern tomorrow. They are so easy to make, I sit in front of the TV and crochet, as once you have got the hang of them ( which I have after the amount I have made) they flow off the hook so quickly!
The first two pictures show the stars drying after the hardening process- I will explain tomorrow!

So far I have one garland from one corner of the room to the light, I plan on doing all four corners. It is going to be the house of Christmas!!

Little Amigurumi Cuties crochet- Frog
Here is another little cutie I made. I think he is cuter than yesterdays. Having looked at the photos, I think one of his eyes needs to be attached rather more securely! The pattern can be found HERE

Crafting update
Hi, I thought I would let you all know what I have been up-to in the past couple of months. As many of you may already know I have given up Stampin' Up! I already miss it. I just didn't have the time to make a go of it as a business, I was having to create under pressure (due to the lack of time I had) and I was beginning to loose the joy of crafting. I knew it was the right time to stop.
I now have time to create other crafting projects, I am working on another crochet neck warmer for a Christmas present and I have nearly finished a huge star garland to decorate the house at Christmas. (I will be sharing the photos soon).
Yesterday I went to the pound shop looking for a few stocking fillers and came out with six balls of crocheting yarn. It is great quality and they have some wonderful colours. They come in 100g balls and the recommenced hook size is 10mm I am using the pink coloured yarn to make the neck warmer. I think it will take all three balls to make - not bad though a handmade scarf for £3.00. I will just need to find the buttons to fix to the finished scarf. If you are interested in making the scarf you can find my original post here http://craftyred.blogspot.co.uk/2012/01/lattice-crochet-neck-warmer.html

Coat inspired by Stitchless
Hi, I have been inspired by a very talented lady. Her website can be found here. I followed a YouTube video she had made and came up with the coat below. This is a link to the video tutorial. LINK
It was really easy to follow and I am rather happy with the result. It looks like it is purple in the photo, but it is a navy blue.

Twitterpated Scallop Bag
I found this fantastic pattern here I made the bag in one evening. I Love it as it fits my work diary in and what is even better is it is coordinated!!! The only thing that is missing from the pattern is where to position the darts, but it was easy to work out where they went.
So that was my Stampin' Up! sewing project last night..... This will be my ongoing crochet project, the wool has been ordered and it arrived this morning, all 36 balls of it! The plan is to make a massive blanket. I taught my daughter this weekend how to make the small ( three round ) granny squares, so hopefully she will give me a little bit of help. I have no idea at this point how many squares will be involved, I am just going to keep going until I have used all the wool up. I have estimated it will probably take me all year.
