Stampin' Up! Sweet Treat Cups

I would just love to get this through the post! What a great idea these little cups are!
I have not got the stamp set that fits perfectly with the cup so I used a stamp set that worked well with it.
The stamp set is a level one hostess set- Darling Dots. The only way to get it is to host a party or become demonstrator! The perks of the job... I love it!
Stamps:-Level one hostess set- Darling Dots. Card Stock:- Always Artichoke and Whisper White. Inks:- Real Red, Glorious Green and Green Galore. Other items used:- Sweet treat cup, tin foil, 1 3/4" circle punch and real red ribbon.

Stampin' Up Sweet Pea covered Diary

Hi, I have been very busy in my Stampin' Up life. Last Saturday I went to my first Inspiring Inkin' team meeting. It was a whole day of fantastic projects, techniques and great advice about everything Stampin' Up!
I met so many wonderful Stampin' Up demonstrators, with such fantastic talent. I had such a wonderful day. I wish I could do it every weekend!

We had to make at least 10 card swaps, I wish I could share what I swapped but foolishly I gave them all away. However, saying that I got 10 great swaps in return. For those of you who are waiting on my flower tutorial... I am working on it. Just trying to find a quite moment when you won't hear screaming children in the background.

I have been organising my stamping area and sorting out my Stampin' Up! paperwork. I became aware of the appalling mess of my diary so this is how I made it look more exciting.

I had my first Stampin' Up! Party last night. It went really well, we all had a fantastic time. I was very nervous to start with but soon got into the swing of things.

We made a card and the bag pictured below. The bag is made from the Sweet Pea designer paper and chocolate chip card stock. I can't wait for the next party!

Stampin' Up! Catalogue link

Just to let you all know I have now placed a link on the side bar of my blog to the current Stampin' Up catalogues. I will be posting an e-mail address which will enable you to place an order with me.
I have spent most of the day creating, I am still playing around with the Fox and Friends stamp set! I have also been creating some punch art with the Stampin' Up! punches. I am still amazed what you can make from a few small scraps of paper. I will be sharing some of these tomorrow.

Stampin' Up! Pencil pot holder

I went to the shops today and once again came back with what I didn't need. Sainsbury's had a Sale on these pencils with a holder ( just 50p) . Needless to say I bought the lot!
I used paper that has retired from the 2008-2009 catalogue. It made me realise if there is something you really like you should get it before it is gone for good. I scalloped Pixie in Pink card stock with the scalloped border punch and placed it around the top and the bottom of the container. I punched out three scalloped circles and fluffed them up to provide a little more dimension. 3/4" and the 1/4" circle punches were used for the centre of the flower. I finished if off with 1/4" striped Grosgrain Pumpkin Pie ribbon tied in a bow around the whole thing.

Some exciting news!

I am now a Stampin' Up demonstrator. Over the next few weeks I will put links up to the catalogues etc.
I have done loads of crafting and I will be sharing it with you all soon. My sister and I are running a craft stall in a local community centre tomorrow so we have been VERY busy. I have done so much crafting I have what I am going to term as crafters neck! I am so stiff from leaning over my desk/working on the floor I have managed to hurt my neck/back. I will put up some pictures of our stall tomorrow.
For now here are a couple of the little Easter bags I made for my family 20 in total.
This idea was a Stampin' Up!party I went to. Thank you Amanda!

Quilted rag bag number two

Here is my other bag.. a little less like a loo roll holder!

Quilted rag bag

I saw this idea on You Tube somewhere... it had been adapted. This was my first attempt, I don't think I will really make use of it. It looks too much like a loo roll holder to me! I have had a go at a larger version which I will post tomorrow. The bag was really easy to make. Each of the scalloped squares were cut out using the scalloped square die from Sizzix.

Bees Wax Art

I thought I ought to dust off my Ranger Melting pot and give it another try. This time instead of experimenting with UTEE (ultra thick embossing enamel) I thought I would give bees wax a go. I made one heck of a mess, burnt myself quite a lot and shouted at the kids to stay away because mummy would have an accident if they came too close. The backing card is Kraft card stock, the round heart embellishment and the polka dot boarder if from the Adore range from My Mind’s Eye. Somewhere in there I have used a bit of napkin, the rub on is from American Crafts and the lace is from my stash.
