Acetate Cupcake Card

This is my first go at an acetate card. I did find it more of a challenge than a conventional card. The edges of the card are inked with Cotton White StazOn. The stamp on the acetate is from the Stampin' Up set Office Accoutrement and the white Staz On was also used for this. The template for the cupcake can be found here If you love cupcakes there are loads of ideas to be found here. I used cream pearlescent card for the cupcake top and inked around the edges using worn lipstick Distress Ink and then added Paper Mania adhesive pearls. The baking cup is made from free paper I had from a magazine. The ribbon is from the Basic Gray Gypsy range. I think I am going to have a go at a few more cupcake themed cards tonight.

  11. What a fun idea to make your card base from acetate. I like the embossing on the side and how you stamped it with white ink. I also like the patterned paper for your cupcake bottom.
