Paper Wedding Cake Part Two

 I have had the professional wedding photographs back for a while now and I have been meaning to share them with you sooner but we are having a extension built so I have been up to my knees in dust and house reorganisation. The photos of the cake in the last post were taken from  friends that had shared them on the internet so it does mean you are not able to click on the photo for a better look. These ones you will be able to.

Part One- The Wedding Cake

Well it has been a while. I have had a very busy couple of months. I am no longer Catherine Evans I am now Catherine Wilcox!
The picture below is me telling everyone at my wedding how to open the all in one box that I posted a video for ,it can be found here. I made 80 of these boxes which made up my wedding cake, each box contained chocolate. It was really hard explaining to my wedding co-ordinator what I was on about and I could see form her face that she thought I was a bit mad.

Continuing with the Easter theme today.

Guest Designer- A Good Egg

One of my lovely customers designed this card, we had a fun filled afternoon of crafting with the A Good Egg stamp set. I love the way she has used the flowers from the Boho Blossoms punch. She coloured the egg in using the Stampin' Up! Watercolor pencils and the used the blender pen. Sorry the colour is a little strange in the photo, I had to take it after work and the light was fading.

I went to my local garden centre today and they had all their Easter goodies out. It inspired me to make this card.

This is a quick, simple yet effective card I made today.

Fancy Flower Punch 3D Flower

I went to regional training yesterday, it was amazing! I made 50 3D flower swaps and had wonderful swaps in return.

All In One Treat Box

I saw this idea on Splitcoast Stampers a while ago, they used a template to make the box. I am no good with templates so I adapted  the idea. I made one of these boxes ages ago and the pictures can be found here. I though I should make a video tutorial so you can all have a go. I am currently making 120 of these boxes.... all will be revealed in due course. I have mentioned on my video that I would take a picture of my plan with the measurements on. I will have to do that tomorrow.

Beware Pirates

I made this card for my nephew's pirate themed Birthday party a few weeks ago. I was great to have a crafting break from wedding stuff.

Some Cake?

I made this cake for a friend at school. 

In key Stage One we celebrate Birthdays during assembly BUT we had no cake to do it with. So I set myself the challenge. It has taken me ages to get round to making it BUT I am very pleased with the result. The reason there are only seven candles on the cake is because the oldest a child can be in the infants is  seven, it was lucky because I only had seven to hand. I have to admit I found it very hard to hand it over.

This is one of my projects I made for my inspiration station at my quarterly training at the end of last month. You may have noticed a colour theme coming through. I thought this would make a great box for a wedding gift to go in.

Well It has Been a While

Sorry all it has been a while since I last posted. The reason for it is I am planning my wedding. Stampin' Up! has NOT taken a back seat in this event... all will become clear in the next few months. I have had my whole family involved in the cutting and sticking!

This is our wedding invite. The crumb cake card is a wallet that holds the information for the guests.
I have so many more wedding things to show you but you will have to wait until after the big day for the reveal.
In the meantime I have lots of other projects to share, as I have a bit more time as wedding preparations are well under-way.

Sorry it has taken me so long to post these photos. I have been inspired, stamped, laughed and cried! I got to know my fellow fantastic team members and had such a wonderful time.  I CAN'T wait for next year!!!!

 These little bats are so easy to create.

Using the Stampin' Up! round tab punch, punch out one tab.

Move the tab along so you can see a bat shape and punch out.

Just keep moving the punch along to make as many bats as you want

Wow this has taken all day!!,

The project that I have shown you did not take all day, it is very simple.....BUT sorting out my new birthday present has... I got an i Pad!! It is fantastic but to allow me to post on my blog I have had to download quite a few apps... in the end I found the correct ones. Even now it is driving me a little mad.
This is a sneak  peak of a larger project. I will try to post how I created this pumpkin later.
