Brown/Black Bear Crochet Trophy Head

So here is my next crochet trophy head. He was really hard to make as I was trying to use up the yarn I had at home rather than going out and buying more. Unfortunately, this meant I had to use three strands of fluffy yarn together and then I ran out so I had to use a different colour.

Hare Crochet Trophy Head

I am still going! The hare is the second head I made and by far the trickiest so far. I don't know if that is because I had had little experience or because he is so much smaller than the others. However, saying that he is my favourite one so far.

Ram Crochet Trophy Head

I posted yesterday and I can now reveal that it is the chin of the lion in the same book that I made this ram from by Vanessa Mooncie. He was great fun to make, I particularly love the way the horns came together.

Zebra Crochet Trophy Head in the Making

I am slowly working my way through the Crochet Trophy Head book written by Vanessa Mooncie. I have still only finished the mouse completely. I have bits of the hare, ram and bear to finish. I am sure I will get there in the end. I am loving following the patterns now that I am fully used to how they are written and understand how the heads work up. The picture shows me mid-way shaping the back of the zebra's head.

Crochet Trophy Heads

I received this fantastic book for Christmas and I am totally obsessed with it. So far I have made the hare, mouse, ram and I am now on the bear. When I first started I felt like I was a beginner, I had not done any amigurumi for a long time and switching back to having to count stitches took a bit of getting used to. I have to say I have yet to complete any of the heads I have made, I will get round to it at some point.
