Two and Half Months in the Making!

So, my biggest project ever has taken me just over two and a half months. Everyone in my house has gone to bed and I had to share. I know many of you will understand what it is from my sneak preview! I will take photos tomorrow.

Spanner holder

So, I bet you didn't think it would be this. I have to admit it was on of the hardest things I have made because the oil cloth was so difficult to work with. I am not sure how my sewing machine managed. It is for my dad, as the original roll the spanners came in had bitten the dust.

Christmas Crochet Star Garland

This is a project that I started last year, it is still a work in progress! So far I have made 100 or so of these stars. I will be posting the pattern tomorrow. They are so easy to make, I sit in front of the TV and crochet, as once you have got the hang of them ( which I have after the amount I have made) they flow off the hook so quickly!

The first two pictures show the stars drying after the hardening process- I will explain tomorrow!

So far I have one garland from one corner of the room to the light, I plan on doing all four corners. It is going to be the house of Christmas!!

Candlelight Christmas Designer Fabric

I love the  Christmas fabric from the Autumn and Winter Catalogue. I used the Candlelight Christmas Designer Fabric (page 4) to make this heart garland for Christmas. Having had the new extension last year the ceiling is really high so I was able to get carried away creating these hearts. I crotched small flowers for the centre and placed a Neutrals Designer Button in the centre of some of them.

Getting ready for Christmas

Thought I would try out a Christmas card today. I need to make them simple for mass production if I am going to sell them. BUT is this too simple? The tree is thick aluminium which has been inked up with Ranger alcohol inks and then run through the crimper. The back ground is made using a stampin' up stamp ( By Definition).
