You two love to walk

The inspiration for this layout was taken from http://scrappyfairies.blogspot.com/. I love Lisa's cards and layouts! I wish I could come up with them as fast as she does ( I have seen her in action). I was taken by the brown paper bag for the background.

The Shabby Shop

A while ago I had my computer re-built and I had photoshop CS2 put on. The result was me spending hours on the computer. I got into digital scrap booking in a big way. However, I had nothing to show for it and more importantly nothing to stroke when I had finished a layout. But as a result of this whim I did find this fantastic digital shop http://www.theshabbyshoppe.com/. I love the stuff they produce and bought quite a bit. I made a few mini albums which I will share with you at some point. Last night I had an e-mail informing me they had brought out a new range well I couldn't resist!! I bought the whole collection. BUT I couldn't go back to the digital side of things. I jigged things around printed them out, cut, stuck, inked and tied:-all the things I love to do that I just can't do on the computer. It is not to say I will never do any digital scrap booking!! I just need to use my scissors.

Embossing paste

I did get round to it!! This is the technique that I was shown in my local craft shop. I am pleased with the results but not the photo. It is just no good using the flash. It did take me two attempts to get it right the first time I moved the paste around the stencil too much and it ended up smudging. On the second attempt I ran the paste down the stencil and tried not to over work the paste.

Sorry no creations today just my button storage that I sorted out yesterday. I will try to get round to the Dreamweaver embossing paste tonight.

Birthday card and Thank You card

My Internet is rubbish, this is the second time I have done this. It is a good job I don't write much in my blog posts. These are just a couple of cards I did the other day. A card for my dad and a card for well I don't know what but I am sure it will get used one day. I bought some Dreamweaver embossing paste today so I am going to have a go at that this evening. I was lucky enough to have a mini demonstration in the craft shop I bought it from.

Craft Storage

My school was having a resources room sort out and these were going in the skip!!! I just couldn't let that happen. I really do feel organised now. No good for school but they are just fantastic for me.
